Andi Hearn has been teaching Irish fiddling in Columbia for more than 7 years and has a range of student ages and levels. "I like to keep each lesson challenging, fun and tailored to each student's interests." Tunes and techniques are learned in the traditional style: by ear, with a focus on technical form as needed.
Davey Mathias started playing guitar at the age of nine and has since studied a wide variety of styles. He offers lessons in DADGAD guitar accompaniment for Irish music. Davey is also a skilled tenor banjo player and teaches tunes and techniques from the Irish repertoire.
Davey and Andi perform as the duo Corner House. Please visit our website: www.cornerhousemusic.com
